Parts of 'moving' upcycled fabric. Layers of lining, fabric cuts arranged in an artful manner, and transparent fabric leftovers that are sewn together in a capitonee' technique. These parts are scraps that resulted from the industrial cutting process at the clothing factories. Due to the sewing technique, the filling made of irretrievable scraps is changing its arrangement with each move. They are sewn in a DIY manner to illustrate the experimental nature. The fabric itself is the illustration of a process. It is not coordinated with a previous sketch, it is the result of the designer's intuition and therefore is unique in each yard. The item can not be reproduced identically with respect to the type of fabrics and their exact arrangement nor to the seams irregularities. Each piece is individually cleaned, laid out, and cut at the Common studio and finished locally in Romania. Each garment comes with an individual tag that tells the story of the included parts, handwritten by the designer.
